One base, two separate mounting interfaces
A pipe clamp may suit the pipe but still have the wrong fixing footprint for the equipment frame. This custom nylon adapter base provides a drawing-defined interface between those two components. The illustrated concept has a broad rectangular footprint, a raised central pad with two circular through holes, and an oblong fixing slot at each end. It is a base only: the pipe clamp, pipe and fasteners are separate items.
Unlike a split pipe clamp, this part does not surround or grip a tube. Its design starts with the underside of the selected clamp and the available frame surface. The pipe diameter is useful context, but it cannot establish the base geometry by itself. Please identify the clamp model or supply its mounting dimensions so that both interfaces can be reviewed together.
Define the clamp position before the footprint
Begin with the required pipe centerline relative to the frame. The chosen clamp contributes its own height; the base pad supplies the remaining offset specified in the assembly drawing. Also show neighboring pipes, cover panels and service access. This helps establish whether the proposed pad height and overall outline leave enough room for assembly and removal.
The two holes shown in the pad are through holes, not molded threads. Bolt direction, head recesses, nuts and underside access must be defined for the actual assembly. A fixing that is accessible on a loose sample may become inaccessible after the base is installed on a closed frame section. A section view through the clamp and base is therefore especially useful.

Frame attachment and molding review
The end slots illustrate an assembly alignment feature. Their length, width, orientation and distance from the pad must follow the frame fixing pattern; the illustration does not define an adjustment range or universal fit. Specify the mating surface, washer seating area and any restrictions beneath the frame. Where compression limiters or other inserts are required, identify them for a separate design review.
Pad thickness, transitions into the plate and material around each opening should be reviewed before tooling. The resin selection also needs the intended installation environment, including moisture exposure, nearby heat sources and cleaning chemicals. What to send for a quotation
Please provide the clamp footprint, frame hole layout, target installed height, available envelope, quantity and preferred color. For an existing assembly, photographs showing bolt access and the surrounding space can supplement the CAD files. State whether a resin specification, insert, special packaging or inspection report is required so that the quotation scope is clear.
After the design is agreed, sample evaluation should address clamp seating, frame contact, hole and slot alignment, fastener access and the resulting pipe position.
