This custom injection molded PA66 guard concept uses an open-ended arch over the sensor envelope and a base with elongated mounting slots. It is designed as a surrounding protective component rather than a generic sensor holding bracket; the sensor retains its separate mounting hardware.
The illustrated profile is a non-production design reference, not an off-the-shelf dimensional standard. Front clearance, sensor sensing face, cable exit, height and mounting-hole spacing must be defined by the customer. The protective cover must not obstruct the sensor's detection field or create unsafe interference with moving equipment.

Why PA66 for a Sensor Guard?
PA66 is an engineering thermoplastic often chosen for mechanically functional molded parts because it provides a useful balance of toughness, stiffness and wear resistance. Its exact performance depends on resin grade, moisture content, geometry and working temperature. PA66 absorbs moisture, which can influence dimensions and mechanical properties; protective clearances and tolerance requirements must be checked in the intended operating environment.
