Support the housing while keeping its connections accessible
This custom frame is an open cradle for a separately supplied controller housing. The illustrated layout uses a rectangular perimeter, four corner fixing holes and two short locating walls along the long sides. Its central window leaves a drawing-defined space below the controller, while the low end regions allow connector access to be considered during assembly design.
The frame is intended for an internal or rear mounting position. It is different from a front display bezel: the main design task is to establish where the controller housing rests, how it is restrained and how its cables can be connected. It is also supplied as an individual plastic component, rather than a complete enclosure, controller or electrical assembly.
Locate from the housing, not the screen size
A display diagonal or front panel measurement cannot define the rear support. Please show the housing footprint, corner radii, seams, projecting screw heads and any removable covers. Identify the surfaces approved for contact. The side walls should reference suitable housing faces without pressing on buttons, labels, vents or a case joint that needs to open during service.
Specify the seating height relative to the equipment mounting surface. The central opening must be matched to the intended support areas so that the housing does not bridge an unsuitable span. The two walls shown are locating features, not snap latches. A separate retention method is required wherever the installed orientation or application could allow the controller to lift or slide out.

Check the connector after it is plugged in
Connector clearance includes more than the socket outline. Provide the mating plug, locking tab, cable exit direction and the space needed to disconnect it. A frame that clears an empty socket may obstruct a fully assembled plug. Show any cable bend requirement from the cable supplier and identify where a separate strain-relief device will be mounted.
The open center does not establish a cooling performance rating. Keep any required airflow path, heat sink clearance and electrical spacing in the equipment design requirements. If access from underneath is important, include the supporting panel or chassis in the assembly model; an opening in the plastic frame can still be blocked by the structure below it.
Plan removal before fixing the mounting pattern
Decide whether servicing removes the controller alone or the controller together with the support frame. This affects screw access, cable slack and neighboring component positions. Mark the permitted tool approach at each corner hole. Confirm screw-head and washer seating, through-hole sizes and the mating threaded features before assigning installation instructions.
For molding review, identify the critical housing gap, mounting-face flatness and hole locations. The wall roots, corner transitions, draft and permissible gate locations can then be evaluated against those priorities. Texture should be specified with a reference where appearance matters. Any insert or secondary operation must be included in the agreed scope rather than inferred from the illustration.
